Henry County Sheriff’s Office
A hit and skip accident was reported at 10:26 p.m. Saturday by Dana J. Merrick of Hamler, when she reported her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked at Area 51 Bar in Hamler. No injuries were reported and damage to Merrick’s vehicle was minor.
- I assume her post-accident skipping session indicates that she was not injured?
A driving complaint was filed at 11:36 p.m. Saturday by a motorist on U.S. Route 24 in Washington Township.
Suspicious activity was reported at 1:28 a.m. Sunday when two people were seen walking on State Route 109 in Liberty Township. A deputy located the subjects and reported everything was okay.
A telephone harassment complaint was filed at 3:40 a.m. Sunday by a subject at 18671 County Road T in Napoleon Township.
A suspicious vehicle was reported parked in the lot at Denny’s IGA in Liberty Center at 6:40 a.m. Sunday. A deputy located the vehicle and reported everything was okay.

Deputies issued several speeding citations on U.S. Route 24 between County Road 2B and State Route 109 in Washington Township and on U.S. Route 6 in Damascus Township between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
A license plate was reported stolen at 2:49 p.m. Sunday by a subject at 2661 County Road V in Liberty Township.
An illegal dumping complaint was filed at 4:36 p.m. Sunday when a bag of trash was found along the roadway on County Road K2 between county roads 7 and 8 in Monroe Township.
Napoleon Police Department
Officers handled a disorderly conduct complaint filed at 1:47 a.m. Saturday by a subject at Rick’s Sports Bar on North Perry Street. A disorderly conduct complaint was also filed at 2:54 p.m. Saturday by a subject at Wal-Mart.

A suspicious person was reported on East Riverview Avenue near Stout Street at 2:42 a.m. Saturday.
Two subjects were warned for trespassing at Oakwood Park at 3:44 a.m. Saturday.
A semi driver was cited for having his truck off route on Woodlawn Avenue at Clairmont Avenue at 5:50 a.m. Saturday.
A criminal trespassing complaint was filed at 10:30 a.m. Saturday by a subject at 334 E. Main St.
Criminal damage was reported to a vehicle parked at 704 W. Clinton St. at 11:20 a.m. Saturday when the vehicle was found with its tires slashed.
Robert Gutierrez, 19, of Napoleon was arrested on a warrant for obstruction of justice at 12:55 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Eric D. Mason, 21, of Paulding was arrested on warrant at 1:46 a.m. Sunday for failure to pay. He was taken to CCNO. Matthew Garza, 24, of Napoleon was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay at 1:53 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to CCNO.
A money clip was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at 250 Lagrange St. at 10:36 a.m. Sunday.

A telephone harassment complaint was filed at 10:58 a.m. Sunday by a subject at 839 W. Graceway Ave.
Gasoline was reported stolen from Napoleon Party Mart in a drive-off at 12:29 p.m. Sunday.
A loitering/menacing complaint was filed at 12:44 p.m. Sunday by a subject at 120 W. Washington St.
Three juveniles were warned for criminal trespassing in the 200 block of East Clinton Street at 4:59 p.m. Sunday.
A black Nintendo DS was reported stolen from Wal-Mart at 5:12 p.m. Sunday.
Napoleon Fire Department
Firefighters were dispatched to 1209 Rye St. at 1:18 p.m. Saturday for a garage fire. Damage was minimal and officials are investigating the possibility of the fire being an arson. No other information was being released at this time.
Florida/Flatrock Township Fire Department
Fire crews were called to 13366 County Road K at 12:46 p.m. Saturday for a woods and field on fire. Holgate firefighters were dispatched at 1:14 p.m. for mutual aid. Holgate was back in service at 3:07, while Florida cleared the scene at 4:21 p.m.
Henry County Hospital
There were no admissions, births or discharges to report Saturday or Sunday.
