On State Route 65 in Damascus Township Wednesday at 1:04 p.m., Dennis E. Cousino, 55, of Grand Rapids was traveling westbound when his vehicle struck a deer. Cousino was uninjured and damage to his vehicle was moderate.
Belinda J. Chapman, 31, of Napoleon was eastbound on State Route 281 west of County Road 14 in Flatrock Township Tuesday at 8:20 p.m. when a deer ran into her vehicle’s path of travel and was struck. Chapman was uninjured, but damage to her vehicle was minor.
A collision with a deer caused minor damage to an eastbound vehicle driven by Gregory D. Vela, 41, of Napoleon on County Road P in Harrison Township Tuesday at 11:05 p.m. Vela was uninjured.
An unknown vehicle was reported to have struck a mailbox at O760 State Route 65 in Damascus Township at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday.
A suspicious person was reported standing in the yard at 7-681 County Road W in Liberty Township Tuesday at 11:49 p.m.

Craig Knierim, 23, of Delta was cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence Wednesday at 12:05 a.m. following a traffic stop on County Road W west of County Road 12 in Wauseon.
An employee at Holgate Party Mart reported money stolen at 11:57 a.m. Wednesday.
Vandalism was reported by a subject at 19809 County Road 20B in Ridgeville Township at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday.
Erica Ziehr, 32, of Hamler was served a warrant Wednesday at 1:52 p.m. at Justop Carryout.
Unwanted phone calls were reported by a subject at 20373 Township Road 5B in Washington Township Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
A car door was reported dented while parked in the lot at Four County Career Center Tuesday at 5:59 p.m.

Napoleon Police Department
Arthur Mack, 40, of Defiance was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday on County Road 17D near U.S. Route 24 for a total protection order violation. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
A street sign was reported knocked down from a hit-skip accident on Filmore Street near Oakwood Avenue Wednesday at 2:35 a.m.

A burglary was reported by a subject at 519 W. Maumee Ave. at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday.
Karen M. Herrera, 39, of Napoleon was charged with theft and operating a vehicle while under the influence Tuesday and summoned to court at 6:44 p.m. at Wal-Mart.

Criminal trespassing was reported at 304 E. Clinton St. at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday.
A barking dog complaint was filed by a subject at 609 E. Washington St. Wednesday at 7:56 p.m.
A citation was issued for a semi off route in the 1500 block of Woodlawn Avenue at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday.
A loud music complaint was reported at 216 Thomas Ave. Wednesday at 12:18 a.m.
Officers were called to a possible gas leak at 299 Appian Ave. Wednesday at 8:27 a.m. Napoleon Fire Department was called to check the area.

There were no admissions to report Wednesday.
Melanie and Jeff Bechtol of Napoleon had a boy weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces Wednesday at 5:05 p.m.
There were five discharges Wednesday permitting publication.
Alison Witte of Liberty Center, Jessica Evans and daughter of Napoleon and Corrie Nesbitt and daughter of Bryan were all discharged.
