Cash was reported stolen from 16726 County Road U in Napoleon at 8:55 a.m. Thursday. An investigation is continuing.

Mailboxes were found damaged on Township Road 4 in Liberty Center at 10:57 a.m. Thursday.

A lock was reported cut off a door at 3704 U.S. Route 24 in Liberty Township Thursday at 4:11 p.m. Deputies reported no entry into the residence was made.


A car was damaged by a rock at 4:59 p.m. Thursday on Rte. 24 near County Road 4A in Washington Township.

A license plate was found on State Route 108 at 7:11 p.m. Thursday.

Two subjects were arrested on warrants Thursday. James Lee Harruff, 20, of Liberty Center was arrested in Liberty Center at 7:19 p.m. on a warrant. Amanda Webb, 21, of Napoleon was arrested at 8:36 p.m. in Napoleon on a warrant out of Defiance County.

Items were reported taken from a room at 10:10 p.m. Thursday on 610 S. East St. in McClure. An investigation is continuing.

Suspicious activity was reported Thursday at 11:37 p.m. when a vehicle stopped on East Riverview Avenue near Commerce Drive and offered a ride to a transient.


A pony was reported loose at 7463 County Road V in Liberty Township Friday at 4:39 a.m.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on County Road W between county roads 11 and R in Liberty Township Friday at 7:18 a.m. The vehicle was located and deputies found no one around. The vehicle was reported gone later in the day.

A television and a game system were reported stolen from a residence at 345 Main St. in McClure at 9:01 a.m. Friday.

Vandalism was reported for holes in a building at 18186 Township Road R1 in Napoleon Township at 2:33 p.m. Friday.

Identity theft was reported at 3:27 p.m. Friday by a subject at 3340 County Road 18 in Pleasant Township. Deputies reported it was a misunderstanding.

Napoleon Police Department

A black nylon trifold mens wallet was reported lost at 12:10 p.m. Thursday.

Officers assisted the fire department with a fire call at 2:07 p.m. Thursday at 44 Sunnydale Lane.

A report of disorderly conduct at 98 Courtland Drive was received at 2:24 p.m. Thursday. At 3:28 p.m., a report of juveniles fighting in the area of West Washington Street was received but officers could not locate anyone.

An employee at Circle K reported a theft at 3:55 p.m. Thursday.

A stop sign on Indiana Avenue was discovered damaged at 5:52 p.m. Thursday. It is unknown who struck it or when.

A report of a black pickup truck driving all over the road in the area of Industrial Drive and Rte. 24 was received at 7:12 p.m. Thursday but could not be confirmed. A semi was reported all over the road on Rte. 24 near Rte. 6 Friday at 8:16 a.m. Officers were unable to locate.

Timothy Davis, 30, of Napoleon was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Thursday on a warrant issued out of Napoleon Municipal Court.

Misuse of a credit card was reported at 9:18 p.m. Thursday by a subject on West Washington Street.

A suspicious person was reported at 11:21 p.m. Thursday on East Washington Street.

A subject was warned for sending harrassing texts at 1:56 a.m. Friday. Telephone harassment was reported by a subject at 1800 Oakwood Ave. Friday at 8:07 p.m.

Accidents were reported at 2495 Enterprise Ave. Friday at 12:51 a.m. and in the 1300 block of Scott Street at 4:34 p.m. Friday. No other information was available.

Obstruction of justice charges are pending against a subject warned for telephone harassment at 630 Stout St. Friday at 1:56 a.m.

A dog complaint was received from the 300 block of North Harmony Drive Friday at 8:41 a.m. Officers reported a subject needed assistance with traffic in order to retrieve the dog.

A sick racoon was reported in the side yard of a residence at 446 W. Maumee Ave. at 9:10 a.m. Friday. An officer took care of the animal.

A truck was reported sitting at 906 W. Riverview Ave. for several day on Friday at 11:26 a.m. Officers checked the location and advised all was okay.


Criminal trespassing was reported for an unwanted subject at 502 W. Clinton St. at 4:46 p.m. Friday.

At 6:30 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the Lutheran Home for a vehicle driving erratically around the parking lot and striking several objects. Upon arrival, officers charged Tondra Rausch, 62, of Columbus with open container, driving under the influence and failure to maintain reasonable control.

A fire alarm was reported at Napoleon Middle School Friday at 9:25 p.m.

Henry County Hospital

There were no admissions, births or discharges to report Thursday.

There were three discharges Friday permitting publication.

Joshua Witte of Liberty Center and Melanie Bechtol and son of Napoleon were all discharged.
