Napoleon Police Department

Trespassing was reported at 7:55 a.m. Thursday from 1037 Stevenson St., but officers were not able to locate anyone.

A yellow and orange leather female wallet was reported lost from 1805 Scott St. at 12:23 p.m. Thursday.
- you'd think a female wallet would ask for directions


A wire was reported laying across the road at Haley Avenue and High Street at 12:25 p.m. Thursday.

A green Huffy Pikes Peak bicycle was found at 12:32 p.m. Thursday at Haley Avenue and Leonard Street. 
- wait, it was found? generally when you find a bicycle, its rider is nearby. check inside a building.


Theft was reported at 3:23 p.m. Thursday from 1400 Scott St.

Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at 3:31 p.m. at Norton Avenue and West Washington Street.

A subject was warned for a barking dog complaint at 11:17 p.m. Thursday on Yeager Street.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office


A deputy responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at 1:44 a.m. Thursday on South Keyser Street in Deshler. Lonnie Wright, 44, of Olivehurst, Calif., was arrested.

An accident occurred at 6:09 a.m. at county roads V and 10 in Washington Township. No other information was available because the report was not complete.

A semi truck lost a wheel at 10:38 a.m. on U.S. Route 24 near County Road 17.

An unwanted text message was reported at 10:50 a.m. Thursday from 107 E. Main St. in Deshler.
Unwanted phone calls were also reported at 2:19 p.m. Thursday on County Road 10A in Hamler. Unwanted calls and messages were also reported at 5:47 p.m. Thursday from Township Road N in Napoleon Township.

Several speed citations were issued Thursday on Rte. 24, State Route 424 and State Route 281.

A deputy assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 5 p.m. Thursday  with a warrant at 236 Depot St. in McClure. Narcotics were also found at the residence.
